Flight Instruction

Hourly Rate for instruction is currently $75 per hour

*all services are based on hourly time

  • Flight Review | Minimum of 1 hour of ground and 1 hour of flying
  • High Performance Endorsement | Get HP endorsement *Minimum of 1 hour ground and 1 hour of flying
  • Mountain Flying | Learn to be safe flying in the mountains through ground training and actual mountain flying
  • Proficiency Flying | Been a while since you flew or don’t feel comfortable, this would be  tailored time together to get you safe, knowledgeable, and proficient
  • Cherokee 6 training | Learn to fly one of the best single engine, 6 seat airplanes on the market!
  • Continued training | A good pilot is always learning | Have questions about specific stuff, want to continue learning, practice flight planning, etc. Anything you need or want to continue learning and practicing

*Charges for flying lessons will be based on Hobbs time for a ready to fly airplane. Additional time is added if there is training before hand (i.e. quick reviews, pre-flight help, W&B check, etc) or if the plane is not ready to fly at scheduled time.

Meet your instructor

I’m Travis. I am a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and a certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic. Having fun, being above reproach, and enjoying the benefits of flying airplanes are the reasons why I continue to be heavily involved with general aviation.

As a CFI with an instrument rating based at the Phoenix-Gateway Airport (KIWA) with my Cherokee 6. I spent approximately a year imparting knowledge and honing skills at Chandler Air (KCHD). To this day, I continue to engage in teaching endeavors independently. My current logbook has over 1,200 hours across an array of aircraft. While my most cherished experiences lie in my beloved Cherokee 6, where I take immense pleasure in teaching people to fly safely, I am also well-versed in handling PA-28s, PA-32s, and Cessna 172s.

I am well versed with flying in Arizona and all the intricacies it brings, along with mountain flying, and using Foreflight correctly. You’ll find me flying on business trips in the Southwest, golfing trips, flying to Mexico for vacation and doing many sunset flights sharing the beauty of aviation with people who’ve never experienced it before.

Aside from my aviation pursuits, I am the owner of a growing SEO agency. I have developed a profound love for the intricacies of business and all facets involved in growing businesses while also fostering a culture people want to partake in.
